Whole school tutor group competition

As part of the World Book Day celebrations taking place on Thursday 2nd March, the Library has launched a tutor group competition to guess which members of staff have been caught reading.

Twenty four members of staff have ‘been caught’ and tutor groups need to work together as a team to identify them. The incriminating photo evidence can be found on the display board outside the Burton English room in the top blue zone and also in the link below. Each photo is numbered from 1-24 and tutor groups must write their answers next to the corresponding number on the entry forms.

Librarian Ms Wendy McCabe said 'The Guess Who’s Been Caught Reading competition is a fun way for students and staff to get involved in the lead up to World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March. When children see positive role models reading they are more likely to pick up a book and read themselves. World Book Day is celebrated all over the world and reminds us why reading is so important.'

The closing date for the competition is 18:00 on Thursday 2nd March with the winning tutor group receiving a box of sweets. Entry forms will be in tutor group folders from today.
