Well done to Year 7 student James Annable, Samuel Ward from Year 8, and Year 11 Archie Robertson-Smith, who were part of two teams that were sponsored to swim as many lengths of Kettering swimming pool as possible in an hour.

A group of four students competed in the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Top of the Bench competition and succeeded in making it through to the regional finals where they represented Northamptonshire coming eighth place out of fourteen regions.
Congratulations to students in Years 11, 12 and 13 who were amongst four local schools invited to take part in the Royal Academy of Arts exhibition at Kettering Museum and Art Gallery.
Students from Brooke Weston Academy made and decorated gingerbread houses with an emphasis on ‘healthy’ decorations. Five students from Year 9 took part as they were the winners of a healthy eating burger competition and selected students from Year 7 were also invited to take part.
Year 10 student Matthew Brown has been awarded Sportsman of the Year, All Round Cadet of the Year and promoted from Cadet to Corporal at his local Royal Air Force Air Cadets 1101 Kettering and District squadron.
Students in Year 9 attended a Trust rugby tournament at Northampton Saints where they succeeded in winning three of their four games and became the Year 9 Trust Champions.
Congratulations to Brooke Weston students Kirndeep Dhassi, Lana Green, Seren Devine and Eliza Donnelly who have all had their book reviews published in the latest copy of ‘Teen Titles’, the book review magazine for teenagers.
