Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award

BWA students achieve Bronze DofE Award

Well done to our Year 10 students Leon Ciach, Lily O’Boyle, Owen Thompstone, James Atkins, Nihal Bains and Year 11 student Joshua Bruma, who have all successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Awards.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme offers students a unique opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, build confidence, and gain independence.

To achieve their Bronze Awards, our students completed four challenging sections: Skills, Physical, Volunteering, and Expedition.

Brooke Weston Academy Maths teacher, Ignus Fourie, who helped support the DofE students, said, ‘I was delighted to present the DofE Bronze certificates and badges to the students. This achievement is a testament to their hard work and dedication. They have all been fantastic, and we are very proud of them!’
