Congratulations to our Year 11 students, Toby Brooks and Neng Yang, for their outstanding achievement in the Kettering Half Marathon.

Toby and Neng took on the challenge to raise funds for Lung Cancer Research, a charity dedicated to advancing treatments for lung cancer. With an initial goal of £500, the duo surpassed expectations and raised an impressive £1175!

Toby completed the race in a fantastic time of 1:47:40 with Neng not far behind with a finishing time of 1:59:50.

Neng said, ‘I loved it and will do it again. The atmosphere was great, and it was a lot of good fun.’

Toby said, ‘I’m going to do the same event next year and go for a better time. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us raise so much for charity. It really does mean so very much to us and our families.’

Well done, Toby and Neng. You have shown that, with determination and effort, we can all 'be the difference' in our community.
