Brooke Weston Academy was delighted to host a primary school tennis tournament as part of the Northamptonshire School Games programme.

A group of BWA Year 10 students were selected to represent the school as young sports leaders and received tennis coaching advice from David Dent, Project Lead at Northamptonshire Sport, in preparation for the event.

The students took responsibility for leading, coaching and officiating at the tournament, which was attended by Year 3 and Year 4 students from local primary schools.

David said, ‘Thank you for hosting and supporting the event today. The young leaders did a great job and received positive feedback from the schools.’
