Congratulations to talented basketball player Henry Brandrick, Year 10, who competed at the Youth Basketball League (YBL) play off finals held at Worcester University on 13^th May.

Northants Basketball Club had four teams playing in the YBL finals with Henry’s team, Northants Thunder under 15 boys facing stiff competition against the Birmingham Bears, a team they shared games with in the regular season.

It was a closely fought final with Henry and his teammates defending with spirit and bravery; limiting the scoring opportunities of the Birmingham team.

Northants Thunder were triumphant with a final score of 58 – 47 and celebrated winning the League title and being crowned overall champions.
