Brooke Weston Academy welcomed Jeff Chilton, Student Recruitment Officer at Aberystwyth University to lead a workshop with Year 12 students on making the most of their summer holiday break in preparation for their return as Year 13 students.

The session included activities and discussions about the importance of rest, relaxation and recharging, wider subject reading, work experience and volunteering, effective Higher Education research, writing personal statements, and the UCAS process; going through what to expect and when, chronologically throughout Year 13.
