Our Year 10 dance students took part in a workshop delivered by a professional dancer from the James Cousins Dance Company. The workshop was based on one of their works ‘Within Her Eyes’ which the students are currently studying for their GCSE exam.

The workshop helped develop students contact and choreographic skills to support both their understanding of the work and their own performance and choreographic work.

Director of Preforming Arts, Dawn Willis said, ‘The workshop was an excellent opportunity for students to challenge their physical skills whilst also giving them an in-depth understanding of Within Her Eyes. A huge thank you to professional dancer Amy who led the workshop and inspired our students.'
