Fundraising event in memory of former BWA student Miriam Lee
A fundraising fashion show and shopping event is being held in memory of former Brooke Weston Academy Sixth Former, Miriam Lee.
Miriam passed away in 2016 aged just 17 from an unexplained cardiac arrest and, since then, her family have been raising funds for the charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), to help fund free heart screening for young people.
The event is taking place at the Kettering Arts Centre on Thursday 19th October from 6.30pm. Tickets to the event cost £5 and can be purchased by visiting https://www.wegottickets.com/event/589367 or emailing nicolalee01@ntlworld.com.
There will be a bar, raffle and cakes, and clothing on sale will include items from brands including White Stuff, River Island, Next, Monsoon and more at up to 75% off.
