Brooke Weston Academy was delighted to welcome Jay Shiley from 'Positively You', one of the UK's leading providers of educational workshops and resources, to deliver workshops for our Year 11 students and Sixth Formers.

Year 11 took part in Super Speed Study Skills workshops to show them how to develop their study skills and adopt positive and effective study habits, helping them to reach their full potential.

Year 12 students took part in ‘Bridging the Gap’ workshops, looking at the demands of Key Stage 5 to help arm them with the core skills needed for independent learning, self-study, higher-order thinking and time management.

Year 13 took part in an ‘Exam Buster’ session with a strong focus on revision techniques, productivity tips and stress management advice, to help them feel better prepared and more confident about sitting their exams.
