Brooke Weston Academy was delighted to welcome a talented cast of actors from Quantum Theatre to perform a wonderfully festive adaptation of the Dickens classic ‘A Christmas Carol’ to all of year 8 and some year 7 students.

Literacy coordinator Lauren Fitzjohn said, ‘They really captured Dickens’ message of reflection and empowered change – using the festive tale to remind everyone about the power of giving and community. The power of literature is inspirational, and it was a great way of bringing the theatre to Brooke Weston. The set and props were fabulous, and the whole afternoon filled the school with festive cheer.’
