Year 8 student represents BWA at the Warhammer Schools Alliance Finals in Nottingham
Well done to Year 8 Dylan Maddams who represented Brook Weston Academy at the Warhammer Schools Alliance Finals at Warhammer World in Nottingham. 
Dylan joined students from Kettering Science Academy at the two-day event along with the best competitors from across the country taking part in a tournament playing the tabletop tactical games Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40k.
Dylan secured 3rd place on day one and was also singled out and presented with a medal for showing exceptional sportsmanship.
Student behaviour was commended by the organisers and all Brooke Weston Trust students demonstrated a good showing of their maths, tactical and painting skills they have worked on throughout the year at Warhammer club.
Dylan said, ‘I enjoyed taking part, it is great to do a hobby I love in a competitive environment. I was really pleased as I finished in third place and won the medal for Most Sportsmanly on day one.’
