Twelve of our students have had book reviews published in ‘Teen Titles’, a magazine that is published nationwide and gives an honest, unbiased view of the newest young adult fiction and non-fiction books available.

The students had originally written their book reviews as part of the BW Trust Yoto Carnegie book shadowing event that took place at Brooke Weston in June last year, before they were submitted to the magazine in the hope that they would be published.

All students received a complimentary copy of Teen Titles with their published reviews alongside their names in print.

Librarian Wendy Mann said ‘It's fantastic that the students have had their book reviews published in Teen Titles. It is read by students all over the UK and is a great way to promote books and reading. Copies of the magazine are also available for staff and students to borrow from the school library’
