Year 10 student invited to assist technicians at the Junior Motorcycle British Talent Cup

Motor Sport enthusiast George Parker Y10 has been invited to be part of the Cresswell Motorcycle Racing team, assisting technicians in the workshop preparing 250cc motorcycles for the British Talent Cup junior racing series.

George has been a frequent visitor to race events and, after making a great impression last summer with his positive working attitude and aptitude for assisting technicians in the workshop, he has been invited to be part of the team this season, helping to prepare the motorcycles ready for race day.

The British Talent Cup is an introduction class for the cream of young riders to progress, ultimately, to Moto GP and is a supporting championship as part of the British Superbike rounds and British leg of the MotoGP at Silverstone.

George will be assisting at both the Snetterton 300 and the Brands Hatch GP circuits this summer. He said, ‘I am looking forward to being part of the team this season. I’ve been a fan of motor sports since I was about 5 years old, as my dad sponsored a rider in the Moto 3 championships when I was younger, so I grew up going to race events at weekends. I really enjoy assisting the technicians, even though it is unpaid work, it is a great atmosphere and great to get hands-on experience in the workshop.'
