Congratulations to Dylan Chan (Y11), Ethan Hawksley (Y11) and Daniel White (Y10) who all performed exceptionally well in the recent UK Mathematical Trust (UKMT) Olympiads.

All three students automatically qualified for the Maclaurin and Hamilton Olympiad rounds following high scores in the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge. Both Olympiads are two-hour challenges that consist of six problems requiring full written answers.

Dylan and Ethan both participated in the Maclaurin Olympiad, with Dylan awarded a certificate of distinction and Ethan a certificate of merit. Daniel took part in the Hamilton Olympiad and received a certificate of qualification.
