High achieving students visit Cambridge college

Two groups of high achieving students from Years 10 and 11 visited Pembroke College Cambridge for an introduction to university life.

They met current undergraduates, toured the college and visited Sedgwick Museum. It was useful for those who aspire to study at Oxbridge and was a great way to boost their knowledge of what university study entails..

Languages teacher Miss Jones said ‘It gave students an idea of what they need to study and focused and motivated them. They all really enjoyed it, were engaged and asked lots of questions. Meeting current students helped break down stereotypes of what a university student is and the trip encouraged our students to work hard to get into a really good university.'
