Brooke Weston students had a great team building residential at Fairthorne Manor with a wide range of sports and evening activities. Nearly the entire cohort of students attended the four-day trip to Southampton. It was a fun and interactive way of tutor groups to bond and spend time with their tutors.
The trip was organised by Mr Rutt who said: ‘183 students went to Fairthorne and everyone had a great time. The students were exceptionally well behaved. Activities included kayaking, raft building, canoeing, abseiling, rock climbing and there was also sailing, which was a new activity. In the evenings there were organised events like a campfire where the students performed pieces they had worked on throughout the term. There was also a disco as well. The students really enjoyed themselves and it was also a good bonding experience for staff.’
