Throughout remote learning the ‘Bedrock Learning’ provision is still accessible for all year 7 and 8 students. This remote platform covers a wide range of engaging topics that build cultural capital – essential knowledge that helps to prepare individuals for future success.

Whilst building this wider knowledge, ‘Bedrock Learning’ exposes students to new vocabulary and supports students in applying this new knowledge. Completely tailored to each student and their needs, this additional curriculum is essential for supporting progress in literacy whilst building their confidence.

All year 7 and 8 students will have their progress and engagement tracked on a weekly basis; those classes and individuals who both excel and show dedication to their progress will be celebrated in our weekly ‘Bedrock’ leader board.
