A dozen students from Brooke Weston Academy had the experience of a lifetime, climbing mountains in Tanzania and trekking with the Maasai. As part of their 21-day adventure the students also built a classroom in a local school and had a day-long safari, as well as time for rest and relaxation at a beach resort.

Congratulation to BWA Sixth Formers, Stuart Bryce and Matthew McCormick, who both completed the Great North Run raising hundreds of pounds for charity. It was the first time that they had taken part in an official marathon as they had to wait until they were 17 to compete.

Brooke Weston Academy is celebrating another successful year of Post-16 examination results with outcomes remaining strong in the new harder reformed linear courses.
