Nearly 70 students from three Brooke Weston Trust schools took part in an inspirational and hands-on science session, learning about medicine, dissection and major bodily organs in a simulated operating theatre.
There is still time for students to visit the annual Book Fair in the library which runs from Wednesday 20 to Monday 25 February, featuring the latest books, posters and stationery.
Year 7 teams from Brooke Weston Academy came up with innovative and life changing concepts in a bid to represent the school in this year’s Believe Big competition.
Author Christopher Edge spoke to Year 7 and 8 students about his books and led writing workshops encouraging them to write their own compelling first lines.
