Students in Year 7 took part in a Trust ‘Believe Big’ day in conjunction with 7billionideas, an initiative to generate ideas that could change the world and build students’ confidence in delivering presentations.
Brooke Weston is hosting it’s annual Scholastic Book Fair in the library from Wednesday 21 until Monday 26 February where students will be able to purchase the latest books, stationary and posters.
This week is Children’s Mental Health Week supporting children and young people’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. To coincide with this, students at Brooke Weston have been taking part in weekly Yoga lessons to help them relax and relieve any anxiety that they may have.
A group of Brooke Weston Harry Potter fans were invited to take part in a celebration of J K Rowling’s unforgettable series of books at an event that was held at Corby Business Academy.
This years ‘Design a Book Cover competition has now been launched for all students in Years 7 and 8 to design a book cover and be in with the chance of winning a book of their choice from those available at the Book Fair at the end of February.
