Mental Health Support

Every person at some point in their lives may struggle with their mental health and face challenges they need support with. The lockdowns that we have been living through over the last year, have applied extra pressure and we may all need a little extra help and guidance now more than ever.

Mental Health at Brooke WestonWith that in mind, we have identified various sources of support for mental health and well-being on this webpage. This webpage aims to support you during your time at Brooke Weston and provides useful tips and guidance, whether you are experiencing mental health problems or have done in the past, or whether you would just like more information on how to keep yourself healthy and well.

There is a huge amount of information on this page for students, staff and parents (please click on the relevant tab below to take you to your page). However, the most important thing on this webpage is this message to you…if you have a concern or worry, talk to someone! Please use our contact form or one of the helplines.

All BWA staff have access to the Employee Assist Programme website where there is a wealth of information and support available. There are some really useful resources available including support around COVID and well-being during the current lock down. All staff also have access to trained counsellors on the phone who can help and support you. The Health Assured programme is free of charge and completely confidential.  I really would encourage you all to take a look if you get a minute.

You can access the health hub through the following this link - https://healthassuredeap.co.uk/contact-ha/
