News / 20 Aug 2026

Students at Brooke Weston Academy in Corby are celebrating today after securing a strong set of GCSE results, marking a successful end to a two-year journey and another impressive milestone for the school.

This morning, students gathered at Brooke Weston Academy, part of the Brooke Weston Trust, to collect their results, supported by their peers and many proud tutors and teachers.  While many students are choosing to continue their education at the Brooke Weston Academy Sixth Form, others are progressing to college courses, apprenticeship programmes, and further training.

Clare Haworth, Principal of Brooke Weston Academy, said: “I am incredibly proud of the character and drive our students have shown this year. Their results are a testament to the focus they have brought to their studies and the goals they have set for themselves.

“This success is a true partnership, and I want to thank our dedicated staff for the daily support they provide, and our families for the vital role they play in encouraging our students to aim high. It is a privilege to see them reach this milestone, and I look forward to welcoming many of them back in September to continue their studies with us. We also wish the very best to those students who are pursuing courses elsewhere.

Andy Burns, newly appointed CEO of Brooke Weston Trust, said:

“Today, all of our students should feel really proud of everything they’ve achieved. They’ve explored new subjects, built friendships, and discovered passions over the past few years, which is what school is truly all about.

“Everyone at Brooke Weston Academy, from our teachers to our support staff, has worked hard to help students secure their ‘tickets for life,’ making the most of every opportunity while encouraging each one to approach their studies with real ambition. I am also very grateful to all our families who have provided such vital support along the way.

"At Brooke Weston Trust, we value more than just grades; we believe that success is reached in many different ways, and I can’t wait to see where these achievements take our students in the future."

Brooke Weston Academy is situated in Corby, welcoming students from across the town and surrounding communities.
